Logic For Mac

So here is the first method for installing Logic Pro in Windows. The method uses a virtual machine on your windows PC to run a copy of OSX which you then install Logic onto. Please read the following warning carefully, it isn't designed to discourage you, that said, please do consider the ramifications carefully before committing to to it.

I successfully completed the installation, however, as an IT professional my machine is top spec (Core i7 16GB Ram 500GB SSD), even so I found that OSX and Logic ran relatively slowly, bottom line, don't expect top performance from a virtual machine. While still usable, if you've ever experienced using a Mac and logic natively, you will definitely feel the lag which will probably detract from the user experience.

You will also need your own copy of OSX Mountain Lion and some additional files and software detailed in the tutorial. The process requires you to first install virtual box and then complete an installation of OSX, additionally some additional software is required to make the Virtual Machine run smoothly (USB drivers etc).
Once OSX is running you then install Logic as you would normally on the MAC.
